Identify the cause of mold – carry out targeted remediation
In the first step, we identify the cause of the mold damage. In the second step, we help you to eliminate it permanently. This is followed by professional restoration of the affected components—ensuring that the damage is repaired for the long term.
If you would like to know where the mold comes from, please contact us. As independent and experienced mold inspectors, we will analyze the cause for you, provide specific advice on how to eliminate it, and recommend suitable measures for subsequent remediation.
An objective and technically sound assessment is particularly important in conflicts between tenants and landlords: we document the damage in a legally compliant manner, evaluate the cause in a comprehensible way, and provide practical solutions.
Why mold assessment is useful
Untreated mold growth can not only damage the building structure, but also cause serious health problems. An expert assessment is therefore strongly recommended in many cases—especially if:
- You want to purchase a property and have existing mold problems investigated.
- If you notice any health symptoms (e.g., respiratory problems, allergic reactions)
that may indicate possible mold contamination. - Mold growth is visible, but the cause remains unclear.
- Disputes between tenants and landlords exist and responsibility for
the mold infestation must be clarified.
In such cases, an independent mold assessment provides clarity—objective, comprehensible, and legally documented.
Detecting mold damage
As certified building surveyors and construction experts, we have in-depth specialist knowledge, many years of experience, and modern measurement technology for damage analysis and the development of suitable renovation concepts.
Not all damage is immediately visible—much of it is hidden inside the component and only becomes apparent upon closer inspection. It may be necessary to open up the component, but this does not necessarily have to be destructive. Modern measuring methods often enable precise and non-destructive determination of the cause.
For example, the moisture content of building components can be reliably determined by measuring electrical resistance. In addition, temperature measurements on component surfaces and humidity measurements provide valuable information about possible sources of moisture or mold risks.
On site, our expert analyzes the cause of the damage, professionally assesses the extent of the damage, documents the findings photographically, and recommends economically sensible measures for repair. In this way, further consequential damage and unnecessary costs can be specifically avoided.
