If you would like to clarify the cause or extent of water damage, we are here for you as independent and experienced building experts. We examine the affected areas, analyze the damage, assess the building fabric, and provide you with specific recommendations for repairing the damage and deciding how to proceed.
Objective and legally compliant documentation is crucial, especially in disputes between owners, tenants, insurance companies, or contractors: We photograph the damage, analyze the cause professionally, and provide you with practical solutions—for transparent clarification and to avoid further costs and complications.
Why an assessment is useful
Water damage that has not been completely repaired can not only significantly impair the building fabric, but also cause long-term consequential damage such as mold growth, material decay, or structural problems. In many cases, an expert assessment is therefore highly recommended—especially if:
- You want to buy a property and want to have any potential water damage checked in advance.
- You notice damp spots, discoloration, or a musty smell, but the cause is unclear.
- There has been a burst pipe, backwater, or rainwater ingress, and you would like to have the damage professionally assessed.
- Disputes between owners, tenants, insurance companies, or contractors exist and responsibility for the damage must be clarified.
In such cases, an independent assessment of the water damage provides clarity—objective, comprehensible, and documented in a legally compliant manner. Sie erhalten eine fundierte Einschätzung der Ursache, des Schadensausmaßes und Empfehlungen für die weitere Vorgehensweis.
Complete restoration of water damage
As certified building surveyors and construction experts, we have in-depth specialist knowledge, many years of experience, and modern measurement technology for damage analysis and the development of suitable renovation concepts. Not all damage is immediately visible—much of it is hidden inside the component and only becomes apparent upon closer inspection. A so-called component cleaning may be necessary, but does not necessarily have to be destructive. Modern measuring methods often enable precise and non-destructive cause determination. For example, the moisture content of components can be reliably determined by measuring electrical resistance. In addition, temperature measurements on component surfaces and humidity measurements provide valuable information about possible sources of moisture or mold risks.
On site, our expert analyzes the cause of the damage, professionally assesses the extent of the damage, documents the findings photographically, and recommends economically sensible measures for repair. This allows
further consequential damage and unnecessary costs to be specifically avoided.
